Sponsor
Your action helps create a better World now! If you choose to sponsor a primary school child, a monthly € 20 is very enough for the child’s year needs of books, pens, a pair of shoes and uniforms, medical check up (not buying medicine), and a meal a day. If you choose to sponsor a secondary school child € 25 a month is enough to send a child to school a whole year covering school fees, uniforms, books, a pair of shoes, and one time medical check up. You can also choose to sponsor a young adult for short courses to give them a profession like builders, carpenters, tailors and simple mechanics. Should you choose this option, a monthly € 20 will help a family employ themselves. These short courses can last for one to two years depending on a course type.
You can decide to sponsor by giving material support by sending a working tool such as a sewing machine, tools for carpentry etc. Writing and visiting too offer moral support to children making them feel loved and cared for.
As a sponsor you have the same child (or children) for the period of your sponsorship. Every sponsor of an individual receives a picture and an original application form. You receive biannual newsletters and a yearly report on the education and health development of your sponsored individual.
Donate
If you choose to be a donor (not sponsoring a particular child for a particular period), you are most welcome. You can make a donation once only or regularly. You can also help Kasulu Foundation raise money as a volunteer. Your donations will help in short term sponsoring of children who are in their final years of schooling but have no means to continue, young adults in need of a profession and medical help for the children. You donation can help run the foundation or buy a tool (saw machines, sewing machines, hair cutting machine, a hoe, and fertilizers) for adults with a profession but without means. Donations can also be used for campaigns such as education, nutrition and AIDS awareness.
As a donor you will receive our biannual newsletter on the development of the children in Tanzania, the foundation’s activities and projects. A financial year report can be readily sent to you on request.
If you do not indicate where your donation should go, the foundation will take it where it is most needed such as for the sick and sponsoring girls go to school.
